Dental Bonding

For patients who have gaps or cracks in their teeth, or severe stains and discoloration, or a cavity after decay has been removed, dental bonding is a great option to improve the appearance of their smile. Dental bonding may also be an option for old, unsightly silver-amalgam fillings.

In dental bonding, an adhesive is first applied to your tooth. Then a composite resin is shaped and sculpted over the adhesive. Once the resin is applied an LED light is used to harden the bonding material. Once hardened, the resin is polished to reveal your bight, new smile. Modern bonding materials, combined with proper oral hygiene, can last upwards of ten years.
